Chicago Flavor Ban

/Chicago Flavor Ban

Edward Burke has introduced Ordinance O2018-4150, banning the sale of flavored nicotine products, which will be headed to the Finance Committee. It is beyond appalling to see legislative language refer to “JUUL” no less than TWENTY-FIVE TIMES and certainly implies there’s an obsession regarding it that we have never seen before in any legislative text.

You would think a city like Chicago would know something about how PROHIBITION DOES NOT WORK. Oh, well, we’re trying to send that message loud and clear in San Francisco as well, it seems.

Stay tuned for future actions and the need for YOUR involvement!
